The Information Technology Department, located in Deer Valley, Arizona has an opening for a Lifecycle and Asset Analyst. Position is available in Deer Valley, Arizona.



Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



o Work with various IT systems in order to provide IT Asset Management services, reporting and analysis as required. Knowledge of Asset Management and Network Asset Analysis and Optimization Strongly Preferred

o Interface with IT Professionals, Project Managers, Cost Center Managers, Life Cycle Managers, Business Representatives, and Other Stakeholder Areas on expected IT Asset Management related Costs, Benefits, and related Financial issues.

o Collaboration with IT Finance and key business stakeholders to drive higher value and lower costs, work across functional areas to ensure maximization of efficiencies to IT Asset Management and IT Asset Management systems.

o Ensure that proper financial processes and deadlines are met, develop and implement internal processes and procedures, and assist in the coordination and execution of these to support and comply with IT Asset Management policy and procedures.

o Assist in establishing strategies and responses to urgent ad hoc and routine report requests to meet the information requirements of key customers including IT and other relevant management for critical financial or operational analyses.

o Assist in the development of financial models, collect and evaluate data, make appropriate assumptions, analyze results and make recommendations. The candidate must be able to strongly articulate the rationale for the methodology chosen.

o Interface with IT Professionals, Project Managers, Business Representatives, and Other Stakeholder Areas on expected IT Project Costs, Benefits, and related Asset Management issues.

o Improve accuracy of depreciation forecasts through understanding the business, the drivers and asset management functions.

o Participate in the development and maintenance of performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets to promote asset management accountability, and assist in identifying performance improvement opportunities to optimize operational drivers.

o Consult with other finance analysts to assist in budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, and monthly variance analysis providing leadership direction on asset management issues to all levels of management.

o Provide necessary support to Manager as required.

Qualifications:



o Preferred Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.

o 5 plus years Asset Management and/or financial experience in a large organization (preferably Fortune 500) of which a majority of experience should be in the asset management area and/or in the financial analysis area.

o SQL query writing a must

Knowledge of Remedy/CMDB preferred

Working knowledge of Lawson Financial system

Experience with analytically challenging asset management data, also including some understanding of GAAP.

o Able to facilitate discussion at all levels of the organization, effectively interface with staff, peers, internal customers, and senior management.

o Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis, determine the key issues and develop appropriate action plans from multidisciplinary perspectives.

o Must exhibit superior Customer Service and commitment to team work and team members.

o Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation, and have a high degree of initiative and follow through.

o Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrable experience in preparing presentations to management.

o Understanding of GAAP, FASB, and related accounting and asset management principles.

o Proficient knowledge and use of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word. Knowledge of Remedy/CMDB and Lawson preferred.

o Independent in work ethic and thought process, needing little direction / supervision, self motivator.

o Positive attitude and strong team player with an eagerness to learn and add value to the team and to the organization as a whole.

o Familiarity with Information Technology environment and/or Retail preferred.
