The successful individual will understand the education market s/he serves, innovate, and provide strategic feedback on product direction and customer expectations.


 


Are you confident in your ability to deliver on the following:



  • Drive aggressive sales for 2009-2010 and beyond.

  • Develop and implement strong customer needs specific business plans including overall strategy (sales, marketing and service), pricing, and resource plans.

  • Mentor a team of sales, support and marketing professionals to deliver on a vision.

  • Act as a customer champion and business development leader within the organization for Education Sales.

  • Actively manage and report on pipeline, status of the business, and forecast revenue.


 


 


Ideal experience requirements:



  • Intelligent Software/Technology sales performer with successful Enterprise, Government, and/or Education marketplace experience.

  • 5+ years experience in a sales role, years as a front runner, ground breaker and overall sales leader a plus.

  • Strategic Plan Builder and Implementer; able to communicate about vision and opportunity as well as match specific customer requirements to those visions, delivering on the promise of the vision.

  • Relationship creation abilities; understands how to leverage relationships in support of sales, referrals and support cohorts.

  • Consultative Solutions-Orientation; able to craft and communicate a complex value proposition as products migrate toward ASP and potentially continuous revenue models.

  • Experience with CRM tools – preferably Salesforce.com.

  • Work in a highly distributed team environment to effectively deliver sales and customer satisfaction.
